In general, I don't think white lipstick compliments anyone's skin tones so it's not a race issue. Any color of lipstick that is too light just doesn't look cute. If it's the style you like, go right ahead and be original though!

To lighten the dark lips , apply a mixture of honey and lime juice over lips for a few days.
or smar fresh cream over discolured lips and leave it on to dry. Use regularly for atleast a month to bring back a healthy colour to the lips.
For quick results apply coriander juice( extracted from fresh coriander leaves) , before going to bed. this is the most easiest and quickest way to lighten your lips.

If you have a Bath %26amp; Body Works store in your local mall, go there and try the OC Bigelow Mentha Lip Tint # 1137. It gives you a natural pink tone and it's not heavy like lipstick. It works for me!

they are just people that like a certain kind of music and enjoy similar asthetic tastes.
and goth music is not that heavy metal that people think is ';so goth';
look up these bands for a few examples:
bauhaus - they are the original goth band, they claimeded their music to be ';gothic compared to pop nowadays'; back in the 80's fans adopted the term and so it started
siouxsie and the banshees - my favorite of the old-school goth artists
the cure - while they don't claim to be goth, most of their fans would say otherwise
to go on to some more ';hard core'; stuff i'd reccomend
christian death- their title is ment to be a joke, now that we've cleared that much, they are actually a deathrock band but deathrock along with alot of other non-mainstream music is incorporated into the goth scene by similar interest

Put lip balm to moisturize your lips. Too much dryness can also case darkening of lips. If she is using a matte lipstick, just ask her to moisturize her lips a little before applying the lipstick. yes well she is rite but not totally, if u have tannish/bronze skin it wouldnt work beacuse u dont want ur lips to blend in w/ ur face. u can use a darkish pink with gloss no light pinks, and some red or coral/orange if u can find a good one

my wife has been using lipstick fo 50+ YEARS AND WHAT YOU ASK IS NOT SO.
No, I used lipstick everyday for a year and my lips are still as pale as they were to start with, and I use the cheap 1-2$ lipsticks.
I don't wear lipstick that much, but I don't think lips turn dark/black from usage of lipstick. I actually think they turn the opposite pale/white, and I'm not sure if it's because people are so used to seeing lipstick color on your lips that when you don't have any one, your lips look more pale or if it's because the ingredients in lipstick causes your lips to lose pigmentation. But I've never heard of lips turning darker/black from using lipstick and if yours do....that means you need to use another brand!
