When I was a little girl, to keep me out of her lipstick, my mother told me that it was made with frog snot. The woman actually ate frog legs. So, I naturally believed her about the frog snot. I didn't let my mother put her lips on me again until I was old enough to read the ingredients for myself.

i once heard it contained ground up fish scales, but i'm not sure why...
Wax is the main ingredient of lipsticsk along with some artificial flavours and food colors
something from fish not really sure but i remember being asked at a makeup consultation for a wedding if I was allergic to shellfish
