i just enough tsoem b/c i like to make my lips black sometimes for pic, and before that i used black eyeshadow for my lips, anyway when i put it on it was too muck od u have anytips for putting it on better?

Always use some kind of base underneath, even if its just chapstick. That way it wont stain and look funny when you decide to take it off (this used to happen to me a lot, and I ended up wearing even more black lipstick...). Try to apply it really lightly...It might just be the brand you bought - not that its just cheap or anything. Sometimes though even the expensive stuff is too thick or heavy because its supposed to be so extreme.

Don't use solid black. It never looks natural. Instead, opt for a really, really dark red. It shows up the same, but it doesn't look so fake.
When using a black lipstick, try blotting your lips on a tissue or napkin, so it wont be too much.





Or you can try a black eyeliner, like Wet n' Wild with a little bit of chapstick-just put the chapstick on first.
Chap stick (lip gloss, whatever you want) then black lip liner and then add the black lip stick.
