What lipstick color to wear with a black and white formal dress?

I have to attend my company holiday party and i dont know what shades of make up to wear? I have medium tan- tan skin ?? Help!What lipstick color to wear with a black and white formal dress?

It is your company party so I'd suggest nothing too dramatic. If you have brown eyes go with some in the plum family. Or go with coral. Both shades go well with tan/olive complexions. You want to appear polished, not overly done up since it is essentially a business function.
Its really hard to answer this question with out a picture. Hair color? Age?





If you are going to do a bright lip then wear very little eye makeup. The same goes with if you're are going to do an intense eye (such as a smokey eye) then do a pale lip.

I think you should do like black smoky eyes along with like a really really light pale red or pink and put gloss on it to make it shine. It'll bring out your smoky eyes more :)
you basically go with your shade of hair and eyes.of course your make up goes to an evening look.I would suggest red,always looks dramatic.
I would go with a pale pink or almost nude color.


I'm not a big fan of dark colors on lips though.
pink! or what i love to do is put a pale lip stick or foundation and like a light pink lip gloss... and go for smoky eyes
