When i wear black lipstick it makes my face appear chubby?!?

oh its cause in general the color black makes things look smaller, so when you put black lipstick on, it makes your lips look smaller and the rest of your face larger... i dont know what you can do, i dont know if you would want to wear lip gloss over the lipstick, so it makes your lips look proportional to your face

I've never seen black lipstick look flattering on anyone , as it does tend to do that . I am not sure why , but maybe try going with a dark crimson instead , as it could also look well with the look you are trying to achieve .

Try purple lipstick instead... Purple is rich and vibrant.


You can get a sultry smokey look with purple. Try nail polish in purple too.





Plum with purple eye shadow and black eyeliner and a sheer red blush will complete your new look.

well sorry im not much of an expert on black lipstick.
Dark colors make things appear further back and smaller while light colors make things appear closer and bigger. When you wear black lipstick it makes your lips appear further away and smaller and in turn your face closer and to the person and larger in relation to your lips. As a result, your face looks chubby.





EDIT- Black lipstick is not my fav. either...but seriously...those of you acting pretentious, copy and paste this into Word...then open it in 2 years if you are 13 or under, 3 if you are 14-17...if you are older than this you are destined to be a hateful person the rest of your life...forget having real friends.
